More to come soon.

A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you wonderful humans

Much Love

Jake, Karen and the 1step Team

and after the bike ride.........

Even after the bike ride, activities didn't stop for the 1step team.

We had a great day with Volunteer Building Cambodia (VBC) who are doing great work building houses and now classrooms and a community centre. It was hard work and we take our hats off for the volunteers who do it each day for a week or more.

A visit to the school to see Soury and the kids.

A great afternoon was spent at the Floating Village, Kompong Phluk with the scholarship students many who hadn't been there before. A ride on tuk tuks, a truck and a boat. A great afternoon for us all.

We had time to visit ACCB, Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity who do great work in protecting and rescuing endangered and other animals and teaching about the importance of biodiversity. Also an amazing ride through the country side.

And on our last day, a trip to the children hospital in Siem Reap to give blood.

Scott and Hayden were digging the toilet! Karen working on one of the classrooms.  A very hot and exhausting morning but great to see what wonderful work VBC are doing.

Thank you to Grill'd for a wonderful night

We had a great night at Grilld on the 25th August. Thank you so much for everyones support, those who attended and those who donated for our raffle. It was a bit chilly but the company was great and the food was fantastic. Thank you to Laurina and her staff from Grill'd for their support and their great service.

We have our "local matters" jar there for another couple of days. Not sure if we will win but whether it's $100 or $300, it all makes a difference.

A Huge thank you to EPIRB

A huge thanks to EPIRBhire.com.au https://www.facebook.com/epirbhire/ for coming on board as a sponsor again for this years bike ride :) Not only do they provide yearly financial support but also helping with UHF technology for this trip to make communications between riding teams and transport teams easier. Thanks again for always believing in us and our work! 😁 [image: One Step One Life's photo.] https://www.facebook.com/497782710367407/photos/a.527162757429402.1073741828.497782710367407/930254683786872/?type=3
